The B-Word, McCain, and Cash

No Democratic debate analysis from me (no tears please). Although from all accounts Clinton bounced back from the last one. What about a little riff on the b-word and John McCain? On Monday at a question and answer period in South Carolina, McCain was asked, “How do we stop the bitch.” The articulate questioner was referring to Clinton. McCain called the question excellent and began a mini speech on how he is best positioned to keep the White House from Clinton’s dirty mitts.

Rick Sanchez at CNN wondered why McCain didn’t ask the brilliant questioner to be more careful in her language. Now McCain is sending out a donation letter saying he needs help to fight Rick Sanchez and those CNN socialists.

Don’t know why McCain is getting snippy with Sanchez. He dropped the ball by not giving the smart as a tack questioner grief for her language. Republicans cannot on one hand wring their hands about the coarsening of the culture (20 bucks says the woman who asked the question is appalled when Snoop calls women female dogs), then get in the dirt when Hillary is involved. In fact foaming at the mouth each time the last name Clinton is used is unbecoming and helps her get closer to a return White House residency.

  1. As usual, true colors time. Had someone on the Democratic side said "How do we beat that Mormon Bitch" about Romney or called Rudy "A 9/11 Dickhead," The GOP would be sceaming blue murder and Rush/O'Reilly/Hannity etc would be going into anyuresms. But not Republicans and their "Rap is derogatory" minions. SHAME on John McCain for not bitch-slapping this trailer trash women when he could have taken a high road.
  2. Hahah, but she IS a bitch. So why all the PC talk - we are getting soft.
  3. I wonder how McCain would have responded had the questioner asked, "How do we beat the nigger?"
  4. I did not see Sanchez, but EVERY comment I saw, MSNBC,FOX, even CBS said this raving left wing nut was so off base CNN should apoligize to John.
  5. Remember that the questioner was Republican. It wasn't merely uncouth, but riddled with what many conservatives are known for: hate. If Ann Coultergeist had asked the question, people would have yawned or tittered. Republicans have known for years that they've been looked upon as bigoted and boorish. Questions like that only feed the stereotype.

Remember tha when it comes to the "culture war," Republicans may be waging the war, but we've got the culture.
  6. McCain like many rethuglicans have absolutley NO class and that goes for the questioner too!
