I would love to know what three State Department employees were thinking when they decided to take a peek at Barack Obama’s passport information. In January, February, and March, three different State Department workers allowed their fingers and eyes to meander through the senator’s consular affairs section. This is sort of not allowed under State Department rules (some pesky thing about keeping private information private), so two of the employees were fired on the spot while a third was given a reprimand. According to a State Department spokesperson, the three suffered from an “imprudent curiosity” and an investigation is ongoing on why personal info can’t just stay that way.
Now before you Obama partisans yell conspiracy, the State Department has a history of looking into the personal files of Democratic Party outsiders looking to win the White House. In 1992, some guy from Arkansas was running for the White House. Good looking kid named Clinton, first name Bill. State Department officials went through his file looking for some intel about alleged draft dodging.
When a Bush is at the helm looks like the State Department can’t follow its own rules during election season.
POST-SCRIPT: Looks like the State Department is filled with busy-bodies because the passport files of Hillary Clinton and John McCain have also been breached. What are those people doing?

Did a post-script on the story the moment the news broke. Thanks for the heads up though. Keep reading and making comments.
Sincerely,
James
So much for Obama partisan yelling conspiracy.
So are you going to follow up on this story?
You get props from me for making an NBA reference.
I will disagree slightly because of the last line in the post:
"When a Bush is at the helm looks like the State Department can’t follow its own rules during election season."
Thanks for reading and making comments!
Sincerely,

That's like saying the Miami Heat have a history of winning NBA championships.*
It happened one time; there is no history of doing this in the State Department. Moreover, just because it was done to Clinton, doesn't mean that there isn't some political motivation in what's been done to Obama. Just because the Clintons may not have had a hand in it, doesn't mean that there's not a political being orchestrated by Republicans (as was the case in 1992).
That said, I don't think there's some grand conspiracy in all this (or should I say, I don't know yet that there is), but I do know this: three people violated Obama's privacy rights and, at the very least, committed a misdemeanor. There was no investigation, no passing of the violation up the chain of command at the State Department (three times!) and no notice given to Obama over the breach of security.
It might not be a conspiracy, but it sure smells fishy.
* For those for whom that analogy didn't register: the Miami Heat have won just one NBA championship (two years later, they are one of the worst teams in the league).
Remember all the FBI files on political enemies that the Clinton regime illegally pulled from the Justice Department without authorization? That's just the way the Clintons conduct business. The Clintons are among the most corrupt (remember the magic $1,000 that Hillary turned into $100,000 playing the cattle futures market) and the most obstructionist (remember the Rose Law Firm billing records which suddenly appeared from nowhere on Hillary's desk 18 months after they were subpoened) and the most lying (remember Bill's suspension from the bar in Arkansas for 5 years for perjury) team in modern American history. Get a clue, people, the Clintons will do anything to restore their regime.
